Congrats to Matt Cain, for pitching one of the greatest single games ever pitched by a pitcher…check out the first two links below for details on last night’s gem and the Wikipedia link for a list of all the perfect games in MLB history…look at that list and consider these two interesting facts…there wasn’t a single perfect game thrown throughout the entire decade of the 1970′s and of the 22 thrown throughout MLB history, 4 have been thrown in the last two years ! ( Dallas Braden and Roy Halladay in 2010 and Phillip Humber and now Matt Cain in 2012) If one more is thrown during the remainder of this year, it will break the record for most in a single season….
